There is a growing awareness that wheelchair users not only need an excellent seat cushion, but also a back support system that can optimally distribute pressure. The Academy back system ABS is a combination of a back shell and back cushion. It is expandable with thoracic and lateral support, resulting in superb positioning. A comfortable solution for most types of manual wheelchairs. Easily attached between the wheelchair's back tubes. This back system can be used (for instance) with spina bifida.
