Bob’s mother, Monica, and Sportcentrum Rust organized a A-judo tournament in cooperation with the district Zuid-Holland of the judo association on October 12, 2019 in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. The day before the tournament it was uncertain if Bob could participate because of problems with his drain he had to go to first aid. Bob was adamant about participating in the tournament!
With lots of willpower and painkillers Bob was able to take part in the tournament. Despite the problems with his drain, he performed very well! He won the 1st prize in the category 45-50kg!
The tournament was well attended and the atmosphere was great. The prizes were awarded by a special guest: champion parasnowboarding Renske Beek!
