Testimonial Tycho Glastra van Loon - Vicair Active O2

My name is Tycho and I am from Utrecht. Due to a snowboarding accident in 2022 I have a complete spinal cord injury at T3. Since I got my own wheelchair I have been sitting on a Vicair cushion. During my rehabilitation it was quite hard to find a good cushion. My first cushion was made of foam and I also tried a gel cushion. In doing so, my occupational therapist and me noticed that I still sweat a little under my lesion and that my legs got wet, which makes the risk of pressure ulcers higher. So I needed a cushion that breathes more but still provides good support during transfers.

Then the choice was quickly made. It had to be a Vicair Active O2.

It is very breathable and gives enough support for my daily activities. I also like the fact that the cushion can be washed in the washing machine. I take out the front foam piece and the rest of the cushion can be thrown in just like that. I am super satisfied with my wheelchair cushion from Vicair and would definitely recommend them!
